Structure and Functions of Standing Committees

The following works were carried out by forming a standing committee in Shahargram Union No. 4.

 

 

Functions of the Standing Committee-

A) Finance and establishment.

B) Audit and maintenance of accounts.

C) Tax assessment and collection.

D) Education, health and family planning.

E) Agriculture, fisheries and animal resources and other economic development works.

F) Rural infrastructure development, conservation, maintenance etc.

G) To maintain law and order.

H) Birth and death registration.

I) Sanitation, water supply and sewerage.

J) Social welfare and problem management.

K) Environmental development, environmental protection tree planting.

L) Resolution of family disputes, women and child welfare.

M) Culture and sports.
